You don't visit the hills for a weekend. You live in them for a week. Throttle, rest, throttle again.
The experience
Somewhere around day four, something shifts. The climb that looked mean on Monday is just another line. Your hands know the bike. The guide doesn't explain as much. He points, and you already see it.
Five riding days. Roughly 100 km each. New ground every morning: spruce tunnels, ridge wind, villages where the asphalt simply ends. Lunch lands somewhere different. The van is already there. Back to Sibiu before the evening rush, legs humming.
One rest day in the middle keeps you honest. Sleep in. Walk the square. Eat like you mean it. Then two more days of dirt with a body that has caught up.
This isn't more of the same tour. It's what happens when you stay long enough for the Carpathians to feel like a place you ride, not a place you sampled.

Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival
Land, check in, meet the guide and the crew. Full briefing on the route and the days ahead. Then Sibiu's old town and dinner are yours.
No riding todayDays 2–7
Ride
Five full riding days at ~100 km, plus one rest day for Sibiu (or pure recovery, your call). Same daily shape: courtyard at 10:00, mountain lunch, back ~17:00. By the last day you're not chasing confidence. You're using it.
Day 8
Departure
Checkout and goodbyes. Sibiu airport transfer is on us.
